• All cultured and simulated pearls are affected by cosmetics, hair spray and perfume. These will dull and/or damage the nacre or coating.  It is best to put on your pearls once hair and make up is complete.
• After each wear, wipe down with a soft cloth.
• Keep your pearls stored flat with the clasp done up to avoid the pearls being scratched.
• Pearls should be restrung regularly, generally every two years if worn often to keep them looking beautiful.
• Pearls should not be worn or immersed in water as moisture may get in where they have been drilled and cause damage. Water can also damage the thread.
